About

Cross Country is long distance running.  It's all about stamina and endurance.  It's great fall conditioning for other sports as well.  Anyone can do it- as long as you have the desire, discipline, and dedication to work hard and improve.  There is only one event in Cross Country, the 5K run.  There is no bench, everyone competes; your biggest adversary is yourself.

Contact Coach Shasta Edwards for more information at edwardss@osceola.k12.fl.us.

HOW TO JOIN

Cross Country is EXCELLENT conditioning for winter sports, building mental and physical endurance, and helps you become a more focused goal-oriented and successful person. In fact, cross country runners consistently have higher GPAs, graduate from college at high rates, and have higher lifetime earnings than those who do not participate in cross country.

The SEASON has already started! See Coach Edwards immediately if you are interested in Room 7-241. We can still accept new athletes until August 18th.
