FSA/EOCs

FSA (Florida Standards Assessments)

Florida’s K-12 assessment system measures students’ achievement of Florida’s education standards.

Students must pass the 10th grade FSA ELA (English Language Assessment) to graduate from high school.  Students can also use the ACT/SAT concordant scores to bypass the FSA (see testing ACT/SAT)

EOCs (End Of Course Exams)

Students will take EOCs for the following courses:

Algebra 1
Algebra 2 (if enrolled in course)
Biology
Geometry
US History

(The EOC is worth 30% of the final grade in each course)

Algebra 1 is the only EOC that students need to pass, with a level 3 or higher, to graduate from high school
