The SAT is coming to HHS March 1st!
 

The SAT & ACT are college admissions exams that are also linked to Florida Bright Futures/additional Scholarships.

We are happy to announce:  March 1st, all Juniors will be taking the SAT on Harmony's campus.  

Need help studying?
-After school on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Media Center until 3:30 come for SAT prep with Ms. Bass.  (now until May)
-Link your Khan Academy with your college board account for study questions designed just for you!  See your English Teacher for assistance.

Not a Junior and still want to take the exam?
After you have completed Algebra 2, research both exams.  Both are accepted by most Colleges and you can try both exams to see which you prefer.  Click *here* for test dates

Boys' Wrestling competed at the District meet on Saturday and walked away District Champion with a combined score of 221, LHS was a distant second at 194! Individual Champions were   138 lbs. Josh Hall, 145 lbs. Caleb Williams, 152 lbs. Austin Gilhart, 195 lbs. Avery Hamm and 285 lbs. Carter Harris. Good Luck next week at Regionals.

Congratulations Longhorns
Wednesday was National Signing day at Harmony High. Five athletes ­­- two football players, two soccer players and one basketball player - signed with colleges.
The football players were offensive linemen Tucker Schroeder (D-I Eastern Kentucky, Richmond, Ky.) and Keagan Breen (D-III Iowa Wesleyan, Mount Pleasant, Iowa).
Schroeder, a third-team Class 7A all-state selection, joins a Colonels squad that competes in the Ohio Valley Conference.
He will play guard/center, he said, and study sports medicine.
Breen, a tackle, will study political science at Iowa Wesleyan.
Lady Longhorns soccer player Amber Jones will go to the University of North Florida, where she looks forward to playing for Coach Robin Confer.
"She has had a lot of success and she is a great coach," Jones said.
Jones will join a former Harmony player, Kendall Pollock, who red-shirted because of an injury.
"We'll actually get to play together, which will be great," Jones said.
Soccer player Luis Jiminez will take his skills to Lees-McRay College in Banner Elk, N.C.
"It was really friendly, a small school, and I love the atmosphere there," he said. He is studying accounting.
Basketball player Orlando Gonzalez will play for Graceland University, Lamoni, Iowa, a NAIA school that competes in the Heart of America Conference. He will study sports medicine.
