ACT and SAT Testing

*The ACT/SAT are college entrance exams that should be taken by students wanting to go to college.  The best time to take these tests are after you have completed Algebra 2.

Concordant scores to bypass the FSA ELA test for graduation:

Graduating Classes 2019-2021
ACT:  19 or higher (reading section only)
SAT:  430 or higher (critical reading only) or 24 or higher on reading subtest

Graduating Classes 2022 and beyond
ACT:  18 or higher by averaging the English and Reading subject tests (if the average is .5 round up to the next whole number).  The average does NOT have to come from the same test administration.
SAT:  480 or higher on the EBRW (Evidence Based Reading Writing) section

PSAT

The PSAT is a test for 9th and 11th graders to help students prepare for the SAT test.  Students can create a College Board Account to access their PSAT score reports and review study questions designed for them (based on their test results).  The test will be given at HHS for all 9th-11th graders during October, 2018.
