Harmony High School

Every Child, Every Chance, Every Day!

Testimonials

What I love about Harmony High School is that it has given me the chance to grow and have a voice in life. The JROTC program at this school has allowed me to be a part of something. I've been in the program since my freshman year until now. 3 years ago, I did not have the outgoing, go-getter personality that I have now. During my freshman year, I was extremely quiet and kept to myself until I signed up for the JROTC summer camp. When I got home from camp, I was a whole new person. I spoke up more, signed up for different clubs, joined a sport, and made new friends. What I love about this school is that the JROTC program here is truly doing its job, motivating young people to be better citizens.

Here at Harmony High School, the AVID program has allowed students like me to progress throughout the high school transition. AVID has also helped me with my college application process. The friends that I have met throughout my high school experience have improved my outlook on life. Teachers here are very supportive and help you through the high school pathway.

As a senior in high school, I can say confidently that there are a lot of things about Harmony that I love. I transferred to Harmony as a junior. I was never bad before I moved here, but I was a lot less dedicated and unmotivated. After coming into this school, I’ve seen so much change in not only my work ethic but in myself. My grades are better, my attitude is better, and the opportunities I’ve gained from coming here are one of the best things that I could ask for. I am now a manager of many. Harmony has shown me my love for sports photography and management. Before coming here, I didn’t know I had these passions, and now that I’ve found them, it gives me a clearer vision of what I want to do with my future.

During my time at Harmony, I’ve had the chance to spend all four years in the band program. Being in Harmony’s Sound of the Stampede has allowed me to not only become a better musician but a better person. As one of the drum majors, I’ve learned countless lessons on how to be a great leader and influence others. In addition to leadership skills, I’ve also made friendships that will last a lifetime. Overall, from staying long hours after school for rehearsals to playing at football games, band has been an experience I will never forget.
